This policy explains how RippleWave (ridetheripplewave.com), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — Britt to confirm; RippleWave is part of the St. Clair Studios family] ("RippleWave," "we," "us"), handles information when you use our website, join our email list, use the RippleWave app, or buy our merch.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Your email address — when you join the ripple / request early access, or send us a message.
- App account data — if you create a RippleWave account: your name and email, the daily ripples you mark complete, your streaks and Ripple Points, and any reflections or journal entries you choose to write.
- Community "ripples" — any kindness action, note, or reflection you choose to post to the community feed.
- Order details — if you buy merch: your name, shipping address, and contact info (payment card details go straight to our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number).
- Messages — anything you send us through a contact or partner form.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical and usage data — device type, browser, pages viewed, and general location — through cookies and privacy-friendly analytics [analytics provider(s) — Britt to confirm, e.g. Google Analytics and/or Microsoft Clarity]. This helps us understand what's working and fix what isn't.
2. How we use it
- Deliver your daily ripple and run your account, streaks, and Ripple Points.
- Send you the emails you asked for — early access, new challenge decks, merch drops, and the occasional bit of good.
- Fulfill and ship merch orders you place.
- Keep the community kind and safe (moderation).
- Improve the app and website, and respond when you contact us.
3. We do not sell your data
Full stop. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We also don't share your reflections or private journal entries publicly — those are yours.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what's needed with a small set of trusted services that help us run RippleWave — never for their own marketing:
- Resend — sends our emails (gets your email address).
- St. Clair Studios CRM — securely stores contact and sign-up details so we can reach you.
- Bart's & Crafts — our merch partner, for making and shipping any items you order.
- Payment processor [Stripe or the processor chosen at checkout launch — Britt to confirm] — securely handles payments when you buy merch.
- Analytics providers — as noted above, to measure and improve the site.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our community.
5. Community content
Anything you choose to post to the public community feed (a "ripple" or a shared reflection) may be visible to other members. Everything posted is moderated — we review, and can edit or remove, content that isn't kind, real, and safe. Don't post anything you wouldn't want seen.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the site and app work, plus analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.
7. Your choices & your rights
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email we send.
- Access or delete your data — email us and we'll help you view, correct, or permanently delete your account and information. [Confirm any regional rights language needed — GDPR/CCPA — with Britt/legal]

8. Children
RippleWave isn't directed to children under [13 or 16 — Britt to confirm], and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as RippleWave grows. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top — and for meaningful changes, we'll do our best to let you know.
