RippleWave is here to make kindness a habit. These terms keep it real, kind, and running smoothly for everyone. By using RippleWave, you're agreeing to them.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — Britt to confirm; RippleWave is part of the St. Clair Studios family] ("RippleWave," "we," "us"), which operates the RippleWave website, app, and merch (together, the "Service"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
RippleWave gives you one specific act of kindness a day, a place to log it, streaks, Ripple Points, and a community feed. It's a motivational habit tool — provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Daily ripples are suggestions: you decide whether an action is appropriate and safe for your situation, and you're responsible for what you choose to do. Nothing in the Service is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Always use good judgment and stay within the law.
If you create an account, keep your login details secure and don't share them. You're responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and let us know if something's off.
You own what you write. When you post a ripple, reflection, or message to the community, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and share it only as needed to run the Service (for example, showing your public ripple in the community feed).
RippleWave only works if it stays kind. When you participate, you agree not to:
Reactions are positive-only. Pile-ons aren't a thing here — and won't become one.
Ripple Points are a rewards feature. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold, or transferred, and can be redeemed only for eligible rewards while supplies last. We may adjust, expire, or change the Ripple Points program at any time.
RippleWave merch is made or curated to order through our partner Bart's & Crafts. Because items are produced for you, production and shipping times vary, and some pieces are limited. Prices and availability can change. Returns, exchanges, and shipping follow the store's policy [link store policy / return window — Britt to confirm].
When merch checkout is live, payments are processed securely by our payment provider [Stripe or the processor chosen at launch — Britt to confirm]. By placing an order you also agree to that provider's terms. We don't store your full payment card details.
The RippleWave name, logo, wave mark, written content, and designs are owned by us (or our partners) and protected by law. Please don't copy, resell, or use them without permission.
Don't misuse the Service — no scraping, hacking, overloading, reverse-engineering, or interfering with how it works or with other people's use of it.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RippleWave and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from any act of kindness you choose to perform. [Confirm final liability cap / disclaimer language with Britt or a lawyer.]
You can stop using RippleWave anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the community at risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. [Confirm venue/arbitration preferences with Britt or a lawyer.]
We may update these Terms as RippleWave grows. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
